Anyone who has followed national politics for the last 18 years knows that without Bill, Hillary wouldn't be a senator, let alone a contender for the office of President. If you examine her record closely you'll see that she has no accomplishments, other than tagging along into national prominance on - yes, I'll say it - Bill's coattails. For the poster who thought that using that term in conjuction with Hillary "is so stupid" - if you can name a few significant accomplishments than she has achieved on her own, I might be willing to reconsider. Of course, "working on behalf of the children" and "standing up to right wing extremists" don't count, since those catch phrases have no real meaning.
Elway - Nice try, but we're still waiting for those accomplishments. Sorry if the challenge was too hard. Happy New Year.

No, not really. All the indications point to him being more of an asset than a detriment as far as the election goes. If you didn't like him as a President, no worries, he will not be governing, he and Hillary are not Siamese twins. She already has expressed that she intends to use him as a world diplomat and he will excel at that, no matter what you might think of his Presidency. Some are voting for Hillary in spite of Bill, others because of Bill. Some folks think they are getting a 2 for 1 deal, and that might be true to a point. But I have no doubt that she is fully capable of forming her own policies and running her own Presidency without him whispering in her ear constantly. That is one wicked smart strong lady with a backbone of steel.
EDIT:
This "riding his coattails" thing is so ridiculous. If the people who repeat this like parrots really knew anything about her they'd know what idiots they sound like.
EDIT:
harryd:
Been there done that with you, some time ago, and am not wasting my time again typing out her achievements so you can thumb your nose at them and pretend they don't mean anything. I tend to remember those who say they want to know, but really don't, you are one of them. Folks like yourself are so wrapped up in degrading certain candidates that even when shown they are wrong about something they will never admit it. It's so easy to tell that you don't really know anything about her but the garbage you hear from others, or you wouldn't even be trying to defend that stance. If you dislike her that's your right of course, but please stop trying to pretend she hasn't got the experience for this job, that's being deliberately obtuse. Pfft...

No. I thank she is a crook and a liar. Her husband did not make her, she made him. Sadly enough, I believe that the world would be better off without Hillery in it.

I rather think that Bushie boy and Bushie daddy are in cahoots with Hillery. They want her to win. And she will.
They will keep their oil dynasties going.

I agree. The problem for Hillary is that Bill is responsible for everything she is. She has ridden his coattails this far and I think she doesn't know how to do it without him. Not very feminist-like of her...depending a man the way she does.

No, I actually think that she is getting quite the political boost from having her husband on her team.

No. And he wasn't a good President and no I don't want her to be my Commander-in-Cheif. She will make a mockery of the Presidency.

Not a chance, and she doesn't think so, either. If she did, she wouldn't have him campaigning for her.
