Good question. Both are at a pretty even level in talent. The big difference is consistency. Joe Johnson you can depend on. Ben Gordon on the other hand, could have 42 points one game and be "unguardable" and have 5 points the next, and so on. Therefore I would say Joe Johnson.

Joe because he is a more established shooting guard he also is 6'7 while Ben Gordon is 6'3 and while Ben has good games he is not the superstar Joe is a great passer scorer and leader Ben was good at coming off the bench like manu but Ben as a starter gives him to much pressure and turning that that 5year for 50million dollars was real stupid. Joe is a true shooting guard while been is a good bench scorer

Joe Johnson by a whole lot. Gordan is ok, but he is too small to play the sg position. Johnson is way more athletic and can penetrate so much better. I would say the shot is about even but Johnson can get his shot off almost at will. Gordan needs screens or open looks to get his shot off. Gordan reminds me of a guy like Steve Kerr and Johnson plays more like Jordan.

im gonna say joe johnson because ben gordon just isn't consistent enough to help the bulls win. joe johnson can dish it shoot it, rebound, and dunk so he is a constant threat to opposing teams.
