Carlos could definitely be used, as could Jose.
Danilo or Dante maybe for your Danielle.
Carlos is supposedly the hispanic form of Charles - why not try a different hispanic version?
Chayo - chay-yo - is a good one.
Carlos Danilo or Danilo Carlos
Danilo Jose or Jose Danilo
Or you could find a hispanic name that has the same or similar meaning as Brittany or Danielle and Carlos or Joel.
that way, while the name won't be the same, the meanings will.
Blessings

Why do you have to combine your names? How about letting your son have a name that is his alone? In my husband's family, each first son got a unique first name and his father's name as a middle name. If you want to combine, how about Daniel Carlos?

Daniel Joel (my favorite and they are also biblical names, if you're a Christian, with great meaning, Daniel means God is my judge, and Joel means the Lord is God). They also sound good in both languages.
Bryant or Brian Carlos
Bryant or Brian Joel

Boy, first name you like, your maiden name and his father's last name.
For instance, Charles (white for Carlos) Reynoldo Garza
Or Jamison Watson Garza.
Javier Simpson Garza
That way you are following latin tradition to use both sides of your family names and giving him a unique name.
Good luck.

How about the name Carbrit ? I think that's a nice name for a boy and different. Or JoeBrit, DanCarlos, Or give him the fathers first name and add your middle name as Dan.
So it would be :
CarlosDan Or,
CarBrit Or,
JoeBrit Or,
DanCarlos
Anyway, Good luck To the both of you's, God Bless.

What about Daniel Charles? Or perhaps Joseph Brian? They both are derivatives of your names, but not just like them or totally dis-similar. I like Daniel for a little boy, understated and strong.
