Be available to talk to them, be open and sharing of your time. In a friendly supportive manner, see if they are willing to get some professional help, including medication.

Let them know that you care and are supportive of them.

Someone who is depressed needs help by going to a medical professional, whether it be an M.D. or Psychiatrist. Depression is not something that usually goes away on its own and is a serious psychological problem. I would ask them to go get help.

they have break downs because they take it all in everything in and nothing out.

then one day the bomb comes and breaks everything it doesnt only break the moment the thing happen but it reminds them of all the bad things happened to them before they just cant take it

try constantly talking to them
making them tell you whats wrong with them
day by day no force
show love and support mostly love
and you would never know it
but a msg at night saying i love you would change someones day

They have breakdowns because they feel nothing is going right for them. Just be there for them.
