The Sims Games?

Question

Anybody know the newest Sims pack for the PC?Basicly what I'm trying to ask is which games do you need to play a certain Sims game?Like you know how for the old one to play Hot Date you needed The Sims or the Deluxe Edition?What are all the Sim games you could connect with the Sims 2 Pets PC game?I think theres like night life & seasons and what not? & the new one that sounds french or something...what do you need or would want with that game?PLZ & THNK U

Sims 2 is one family of products.

Sims 2 Deluxe is Sims 2, plus the first expansion, in one package. It's just so you don't have to buy them separately for more $$$.

ALL of the expansion packs add to the main game, Sims 2. More careers, more objects, more accessories, more, more, more.

Well the main game is the sims 2 you will need that for any of the other game. But after you have that it doesnt matter if you have all of them. you could get any game with pets or and other games. So you could have ( the sims 2, nightlife ) but it wold still work even though you skipped university, If you have anymore questions just email me..

as long as you have the sims 2 then you can play any of the expansion packs. but when you put them in you have to put put them in, in the order they came out.for example: this is what i have. and the order i put them in.

1. sims 2
2. Sims 2 pets
3. Sims 2 bon voyage
4. h &m stuff pack.

and mine runs fine...you just have to make sure that they are in the right order.
