Fear of failure is one of the biggest reasons people quit all kinds of things, like college. The truly successful people in the world are the ones who fail, learn from it, pick themselves up and carry on to succeed next time. Don't quit and be stubborn about not failing. Do you know what they call the medical school student who graduates at the bottom of his class? Doctor, just like the guy who graduates at the top. The trick is to finish; if you're also the best, that's just the gravy on top. Hang in there.

This is a tough question to answer. The first step is to find out if you are truly in academic trouble, or if you're simply finding the work more difficult than you had anticipated. Many students come to college from high school and expect things to be much the same, and it isn't. They find it impossible to easily obtain high scores on examinations, and they become frightened.
But if such a student is performing with reasonable success in the course, and is completing his work on time, then the best advice is for him to continue slugging it out. Eventually he'll recover his confidence as he learns how to budget his time and work more effectively.
On the other hand, if you're flunking several courses and finding it impossible to get most of the work done, and if your previous record is poor, then college is clearly not working for you and you should think about leaving, at least on a temporary basis. Not everyone is ready for college: I sure wasn't, the first time. Eventually you'll mature and can take up the work later on, or you may find that you can reach your goals with different sorts of education.
They're often somewhat vacant and not always so bright, but your first stop should be with one of your school's counselors to see what sort of alternatives there are. And you should definitely have a talk with a trusted, friendly professor, should you find any.
If you drop out for a while, the college will still be there and so will you. Don't place an artificial schedule on your life, and make sure that you're going to school for yourself, not for the honor of your tribe or something.

Don't quit. You can do it. Step back and think reasonably. You are not alone. It is hard but it's not impossible. You are plenty smart enough. You need to take more control. Ask questions about anything that you don't understand. Take the time to read and study. Work with a study group if you think it will help. Smart people ask lots of questions and do what they need to do so they understand the material. Think of questions that might be on the test and test yourself. Learn to become an active reader as opposed to a passive reader. Practice critical thinking. Don't be afraid to ask for help. You are learning and that's part of the process.

You can't quit just because you are afraid to fail. If you drop out, you are closing options for yourself. If you stay in, you will probably succeed. If you stay in and fail, then you can make up classes or transfer to an easier school.
I doubt you choose not to do other things because you fear failure. Do you not play sports because you might lose? Do you not talk to girls because they might not like you? Do you not go to parties because you might not have fun? I doubt it.
One of the best parts of life is grabbing it by the lapels and taking charge. You can succeed if you want to.

NO!! dont quit ESPECIALLY university--instead of spending your time worrying about your place there-- STUDY!!!
If you quit you will lose money, time there will be wasted and it wouldnt look to good to employers, also there will be less opportunities for jobs if yur education isnt to high levels.
What are you currently studying? And at which university?
Get help from your teachers, socialize but have a limit, concentrate in class and everynow and then get support from your family and your friends!!
Dont give up, hope i helped!

If you quit, that will show everyone that you are a loser. Do you want to work in the fast food industry or Walmart? Get your degree and be an elite.

If you quit, then you fail. Would you rather be a failure who tried, or a failure who didn't try?
There is no upside to quitting.
