has got to be one of the best movies ever!
Harry Potter's stories is one of the best stories I've ever read.
it will be history like Cinderella and Lord of the Rings.
I think the movies are better because they make the story so real.
What's your favorite Harry Potter movie?
What was your favorite part of Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix?

I didn't expect Order of Phoenix to be so good because when I read the book it was my least favorite.
they did a good job of comic relief, I thought the book was pretty depressing.
I loved the special effects.
I can't even decide which is my favorite movie

I agree the books are better in the way that they contain more information. I've read every book but book 1. they don't have enough time to include everything so they have to put everything important in it.
I think Luna is a little weird.
when that guy hit her and she was bleeding...the prophecies started falling and she just stood there and watched.
she seems like one of those people who just get too caught up in dreaming they forget all about reality and are seldom in it.

OMG! That movie was such a jumbled mess! The only thing that made that movie interesting was Luna Lovegood and Hogwart's version of the X-Men's Danger Room.
Goblet of Fire was WAY better.

i have just recently (3 months ago) gotten in to harry potter and have never had to wait for the any of the books or the movies. I find it so fun! What im looking foward to in the movie is the scene when Dumbledore escapes from the minister and umbridge - that is going to be awesome! and the fight scene between him and voldemort. and the hall of prophices scene. In the book: there are far too many things. who lives, what are the horcruxes, the 2 way mirror, what is harry's scar - really, the letters from dumbledore to petunia, if ginny and harry will get together, i think ron is going to die sacrificing himself for harry so i dont think him and hermonie will be together but u never know, if hagrid will die, what is behind that vail, what all did dumbledore do to protect harry, what snape and dumbledore were talking about, if the ministery will help or make the situation worse, will the trio go back to school, what about newts... i could go on all day!!!!!

Granted, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (or all the HP movies for that matter) are good if you just watch the movies and never read the books. Me personally, while loving the books and movies, don't find the movies to be as amazing as most people think they are. I think they cut way to much out and while I always like the movies, they always disappoint me too.

While the movies bring the stories to life, they are inferior to the books because so much is left out. The only exception to this is the quidditch scenes; seeing them on screen is much better than reading about them!
Favorite movie thus far is the Goblet of Fire.
Favorite part of the OotP movie is all of the training they do in the Room of Requirement. I thought that really brought the scene to life.

The Order of the Pheonix is my favorite movie so far. I liked the Prisoner of Askaban as well, but to be honest, I like the books better than the movies.
I don't know what scene I liked best... I would have to watch it again. But I loved the scenes with the newspapers that the director used a lot - blending news into each other, showing what happens over bigger periods of times etc. I also enjoyed Umbridge (great actress for the role)

My favorite HP movie was Goblet of Fire.
The best part in OoTP was definitely the fight between Dumbledore and Voldemort. Especially the part where Voldemort break all the glass in the windows at the ministry and sends it hurtling toward Harry and Dumbledore. Classic action.

It's funny, Order of the Phoenix was the least favorite book, but i adored the film. Naturally, i liked when Fred/George took off with fireworks in tail. I also liked when Harry battled Voldemort in his mind. It was touching, really.
My favorite film, however, is Prisoner of Azkaban. I really enjoy it.

I like the fifth movie the most of all because it reminds me so much about real life. I remember after seeing the movie at the theatre my mum and I were talking about its similarities to real life when my mum said that the Daily Prophet reminded her of the LA Times because they are both rubbish.
