My mom is taking me shopping for Christmas. We were thinking about going Saturday, the 5th. Is this a good idea? Or are we waiting too long? There are certain things I want from places like-

Abercrombie

That is probably going to be much too long a wait...a radio report I heard today said business experts expect Jan 5 to be an incredibly busy day with returns and people trying to use their gift cards, because many people are still out of town for the holidays and will return next week after New Years. Go sooner if you can...most especially if the places you have in mind are at a local mall.

great day and wathc the sales. this weekend there's some good deals on pots and pans and towels at the stores saw in the paper today 12-27 going on 12-29 however.

If there are certain things you want, you should go sooner. Everything is picked over after xmas, so the chances of you finding anything good in another week or so is slim.

no la8ter is better because alot of people are returning so the 5th is evn a little early

ahh, alot of stuff might be gone by then. sure, the mall will be crazy if you go earlier than that, but you will get great stuff :)
