Of course! When I was single I ate plenty of meals just like that. No need for a plate - I've got a sink! Or napkin - I've always been a big fan of eating my food wrapped up in a napkin. Not that it actually works in terms of limiting the amount of crumbs that hit the floor like eating over the sink, but it did save me from having to clean a plate!
