loads of music today is about material things, similar to the situation in the late 80's. I think Grunge has a better chance than ever for a 2nd wave.

grunge Isn't supposed to be relaxing, It's supposed to be filled with heavy guitars and angst filled lyrics. Well if that relaxes you, WEIRD.

Sure it's possible. But before it can happen all the craptacular American Idolesque music needs to go so that aspiring musicians will once again have to learn to write music with meaning and play an instrument or two instead of screaming for some arrogant british guy.
