and I went to the Downloads folder and they were there? Now what do I do? and it says like it's going to open wiht Paint, do I have to change this? Please help, I want to know how to get it onto the actual game.

If you unzipped the content into the Downloads folder, when you start the game, they will appear. (You can't click on them to view them; they're Sims-only file extensions which you can't look at or alter without a special program.)
When you start the game, you will likely get a message that says you've installed custom content and it will ask you if you want to enable it. Agree ('enable custom content') and the game will finish loading. Then your items should be available in your game, most likely where you would normally find it (beds in the bed section, etc.).

Like what perfectvelvet said the custom content will be downloaded, and a message will appear at the start of the game.
