My daughter is 3 months old and my boyfriend just got back from the hospital after a month and a half. Ever since he got back, she's been a lot more upset and cries a lot more. When it was just the two of us, she never cried for more than 30 seconds unless she was hungry and she never cried until tears came. Now, she's not like that. Could it be the reintroduction of her dad? Is it her dad? Help me. I don't want to see my baby cry anymore.

Probaly you spent more time holding/coddling her when it was just the two of you and now she can tell that your attention has been diverted. At three months, she probaly needs to get used to the idea of another person being around and get to know him/his voice, etc. I'm sure it is her dad, but that is not a bad thing just a change. Dont worry about it because baby's can sense mom's tension/anxiety and cry even more.
BTW, babys will cry. They cry when they hungry, poopy, peepeed, and are bored for attention. It doesnt end but grows into temper tantrums. Dont let it put you at wits end, use her daddy as a relief to the crying and go out for a walk by yourself. And exhausted/worried mommy is no good for baby. :)

babies feel stress and other emotions from the people around them. Is there a lot of stress in the house now that he is there? Athe emotions in the house up tight , angry fustrated. try to get youself relaxed before you pick up the baby sit down take a few deep slow breathes have the boyfriend do do the same dont yell or fight in front of the baby they can feel alot more than you think

She could be sensing tension between the two of you or even just tension from her dad not really knowing her and if he is nervous about holding or feeding or just being around she can pick up on that too

You tell her is it her dad? But my son use to be the same way when we would have his grandma or family relatives sleep over he would cry all night.
Babies sense that soemthing is different. Try to get them close to one another. He should play with her more.

I agree with kittie. Baby is just readjusting to her dad. He's been gone half her life and is, technically, a new face to her. Give them time to get better acquainted.

I would give it some time and consider that maybe she is going through a collicky phase. She may be gassy or even have a bug.
