There could be plenty of reasons why someone might not respond to e-mails. For example, they may not like you anymore. You might make them sick, or you might have done something to really upset them.
Either that, or it may be the fact that this is the holiday season, and people get caught up in a lot of family stuff. They might not have time to check their e-mail. Whatever it is, don't keep on sending e-mails, that might be kind of creepy to the person. Maybe wait until after the holidays, and send a quick hello. Good luck

If they totally stop responding for many days, then I wonder if they are okay. If it's just for a hour or two or the next day, I don't think anything bad about it....alot of the people who send me emails are not on the computer 8 hours a day like I am.

Aw.. come on, Dr. Stop being such a stalker.
You know when it's over..just accept it gracefully
and move on to the next victim..oops! I meant
move on to your next adventure.
Life's too short to obsess over any one person who isn't showing you the love back in return that you've been
emitting towards them. Besides, perhaps, once they see that you've lost interests in them they will begin to start e-mailing you again.
Try to learn to never be impatient or anxious for anything.
Follow that simple principle and you shall wind up with far more love, attention, affections, e-mails, etc., than you'll
know what to do with in your entire lifetime.
Love, peace and happiness always.

In my opinion, this depends on what type of relationship- whether or not you know them personally or just through the internet. If you know them in person, call 'em. If not, you may know what type of messenger they have...message them. Write the person only one more email, though. Otherwise, you may seem like a weirdo/stalker. No offense. I totally understand your situation, but from their point of view that may be how it would look to them.
Write him/her one last email explaining that you'd appreciate a little consideration for your feelings. It's nice to know what's going on. Not that the response needs to be positive, just that you'd like one. I hate when people leave you hanging, don't you!?

It could be their polite way of ending the relationship, especially if this person is the non-confrontational type. You might send one last e-mail that says something like, "tag, you're it" or just let them know you would like to hear from them, etc. If there still is no response, move on! Good luck.

It means they are done. You can fill their inbox if you'd like but it is going to look super-desperate.

It probably means they are through with you...if you are sending emails via AOL, you might want to check status fo your sent emails..it is possible that this person is simply deleting them

They still like you, they just didn't have a chance to check their email. So, STOP emailling them until they email you back. Try calling them instead.
