I mean the cheap plastic bolted down furniture, the styrofoam "platters" . Look at the nicer places like cosi's, they have real plates, real actual furniture that you can sit on for hours. I don't like going to mcdonalds because I hate the furniture.
I know the Mcemployees are overworked to death and being rude is not their fault, but the overall service is cheap!

They trap the kids and get them addicted so they will come back when they are adults.

Well, I know of two McDonald's in the Asheville, NC area that are superb...The one by the Biltmore House has granite counters, a gas fireplace, and a baby grand piano and was featured on the "Top 10 McDonald's in the World." The second one is off of Merrimon Ave. in Asheville, and it has a Mid-Century Modern design with leather booths, modern wooden furniture with clean lines, a gas fireplace surrounded by custom rock work and granite counters all over...So it just depends on the owner/operators who decide to upgrade their stores, and whether or not they wish to make it a playland type McDonald's or to have a more fancy version of McDonald's to appeal to the adult market. As for the styrofoam platters, etc...It is a matter of convenience and cost.

Actually the Mc Donald's I work for, the owners have 5 other stores and one of them is in a business park and do not have a playland and they have an area for business meetings with nice leather couches and chairs, places for laptops, etc.

I think you're right. . .their chairs suck and they have them way to close to the tables. The service is cheap and they hardly ever get your order right, but for some reason I keep going back. lol, but I use the drive thru.
