Considering that she came from a wealthy family the homes are irrelevant, in fact they were safe houses for her time of house arrest. the present dictatorship was about be replaced and it is probable that the general would have stood trial for his actions over the last few years. The suicide killer was probably sent by the generals aids, if not him, to remove one thorn and to make it necessary to impose martial law again. As to her wanting more just look at Brown, Blair, Bush and the various commissioners in Brussels before you start slinging mud.

How was she greedy, I do not understand. Why because she was wealthy
What stands out though is the fact she had all that but did she sit back and do nothing?
No she chose to return to Pakistan so that she could try and help her people, Not by buying power but by going out campaigning meeting people.
Definately one of the greatest women of the 20th and 21st century
She died for what she believed that was the rights of the ordinary Pakistani regardless of their position or gender

She did nt want anything. She was a leader. A politician in Pakistan is like a rockstar. She had respect among the masses. I admired her. I am a Hindu livng in Muslim majority Pakistan. And I can say that she was the only true liberal force in Pakistan. Pakistan is full of land lords. Nobody can match the calibre and stautre of Bhutto. May she rest in peace.

She was definitely used to a certain life style. Her party would like you to believe that the corruption charges against her were false and perhaps they were. Who knows? However, she had to have known that returning to Pakistan was immanently dangerous. She chose to do it anyway. That doesn't sound greedy, that sounds either crazy or courageous.

She was a corrupt politician which is why she was removed from office twice. Bhutt wasn't the savior of Pakistan, she made promises as Prime Minister that she never kept. It's sad that her life ended this way but she shouldn't be martyred like so many other politicians.

Her family is rich and she could have lived very well in UK or US. She chose to return to Pakistan knowing full well she might be killed however her yearning for freedom for the Pakistani people took precedence. She is a true hero.

She didn't have to go back to Pakistan. She knew that she was a target but she said she believed what she was doing was right. She had several members of her family killed before she knew the risk. I highly doubt she would have taken that risk just for money.

TBH i could never entirely figure out what her motives were?... did she want better for her people or did she just want the power and publicity?
either way, her death will doubtless add more trouble to an already hostile zone.
