I think that he has been in a tough spot these past couple of years. With only a fraction of Americans, and even less people abroad supporting the Iraq war, war on terror ect. He has been put under immense pressure to succeed, now that he pulled us into this war. I think that we have a chance of winning the wars we are involved with. If we can do that, and the Middle East morphs into strong, peaceful, democracies, then Bush will go down as a great American president. I said IF. Whatever decisions Bush makes during the last 13 months of his presidency could very well have a big impact on his legacy.

I try to think of him as little as possible, but I should be praying for him all the time. When he was elected I thought, "People will suffer for their decisions on this one." I couldn't believe he was elected a second time. He uses terrorism and 9/11 to argue for being in Iraq when no one in Iraq was involved in 9/11. It is sort of put it out there and eventually people will believe it. We are in Iraq because of oil interests and Bush's relationship with his father, as far as I'm concerned. Now why haven't we put enough military in Afganistan to capture or kill Osama bin Laden? And what military genius suggested we divide our forces and go in two directions at the same time? I did and do pray that no idiot would assassinate Bush as then we'd have Cheney and Bush is better than Cheney by far. Yet now, what choices do we have with candidates for next election? Can we have another slate of candidates? I'd love to vote for Hillary Clinton, but she seems abrasive and has too many sexists against her (some of them women ). I sure wish we had elected Kerry. I think we'd have a better situation now. But guess people didn't want to change then. I think Gore would have been elected (not sure he would have been any good either) but I believe he was cheated of election (in Florida). Nice to have a brother in a pivotal state, isn't it? But many of my family disagree with me. I do believe we need to treat our military with respect and to give them support as they return. They are in a lousy war but they are following our country's orders. I didn't like the senior Bush, but I think he was an honest man, just screwed up the economy. Otherwise he was good. I'd take him over the son. Clinton straightened out economy (with Greenspan) and was a great president, but sure won't be remembered for that. I think Hillary is tainted by some of his election as well. Maybe she should have run the first time. clinton was sure charismatic (I know some people who met him). Maybe it is time for a woman, but I just am not sure that Hillary can do it. My opinion entirely. God bless Bush and keep him safe. And please Lord, help some good candidate come through who has common sense and perhaps a bit of diplomacy.

I honestly don't know at this point... I've tried to pay as much attention as I could to the news and things like that... it's hard to find a reliable source. One place says one thing, the other place says something totally different...

The thing that bothers me is when people form opinions based on the opinions of their parents or friends or peers... I know a lot of people who don't read the paper, watch the news, watch the debates, or even ATTEMPT to pay attention to what's actually going on in the world... they just take what other people have told them and run with it... even though they don't have a clue.

As far as Bush goes, I think he could do better... but I really don't understand everything that's going on...

He is evil and treasonous. He is bent on destroying the United States economy by starting wars all over the globe, piling on high debts, deregulating business, giving away our natural resources and corrupting our national currency.

Why is he doing this? So he and his cronies can make obscene amounts of money on the backs of ordinary Americans.

When I think of Bush, I think of a lying, money hungry, stupid, dry drunk. AKA the worst President ever.
