I think the thumbs down freak actually thinks by giving a thumbs down, it will prevent someone from getting a best answer. This is simply not true. Don't let it bother you.

Yeah and sometimes you can even tell who is the culprit becasue every answer till you get to theres has a thumbs down.

Yes - especially on strickly opinion questions, like who is your favorite singer, etc... What is the point of giving a thumbs down just because you don't agree on their choice?

No really..because it's not like it affects my life in any way..this site is for pure entertainment, and because i like helping people out..i could care less if people give me thumbs down or not.

Yeah, isn't the point of this whole thing to get many different points of view? Unless it is just an outright ridiculous answer every answer is valid and worth some thought.

Yeah, like they just went through and thumbs-downed everyone regardless of what they thought of the answer just because. It's annoying and pointless!
Yeah, watch me get a billion thumbs-downs. That would be funny. ;p

Not at all, it doesn't make any difference to the amount of points we collect so let them have their bit of fun. If that's all they can do to make their lives that little bit more exciting, why deny them?

yeah, but i eventually ignore them, unless i m the only one to get thumbs down, then i realize i got a troll on my tail.
