Should we worry about Alquiada in Pakistan with all those nukes
Should we worry about a full out civil war spilling into the entire region
Should we worr about Indian Pakistan border and disputed areas around that(India has nukes as well)
How much of an implication, cause or symptom is Pakistan for the region and the world ?

The assasination might have been masterminded by Musraff himself.Bhutto's popularity was a sure threat to Musraff's authority.See the security lapses.
Fall out may be condition of the people of Pakistan.Emergency may re clamped.Pathoons may fight for independance.The areas near to Afghanistan are not under the control of present Govt.A division of Pakistan in to Sind may become in evitable due to Shia/Sunni clashes.When ever internal problems appear Pak used to attack India to divert attention.Though a nuclear war may not happen still there is chance of a minor war.India shold be more careful.

The real answer is no one on our level knows. Possibilities? More martial law in Pakistan, India will get justifiably nervous being right next door and clamp down there border, rattle sabers. Civil war in Pakistan. Factions in Afghanistan move in during the unrest. America comes to 'help'. God save the U.S. military, we are too stretched now. Whatever happens we have one of two scenarios. It will either escalate, or it won't. One is horrible, the other is good.

We should worry about the nukes . . . India will handle this one. India has had several attacks (market bombers and such) from . . . drum roll please . . . Pakistan. People mock the Americans for "hating" middle easterners . . . no one hates the Muslims like the Hindu's. The entire world will find out what a bad *** India has become . . .

The biggest concern is the collapse of the government there. Riots have already begun and if the military cracks down to hard things could get much worse very fast.

it seems like USA is setting things up to have much heavier military presence in Pakistan and/or wherever they can around Iran and Russia!
they want to control the "Grand Chessboard" and/or control the sources of energy in Eurasia!
