I was a nervous wreck, working full time and raising my daughter by myself. This wonderful older woman--far beyond her years in wisdom--taught me to stop my mental rumunations; concentrate on positive outcomes of what I can actually do; and DO IT!! Gradually, I was able to pull myself and my daughter through in a positive manner. Of course, it didn't happen quickly! It took years of daily practice and meditation. My mentor had gone through Unity's School of Christianity pastoral program at Lee's Summit, MO, and helped me control my fear and anxiety and bring positive results in my and my daughter's life!!!! I will ALWAYS be grateful to her for her great gift to me and my daughter! She taught me that what I picture in my mind and proclaim--I create.
