I never understood having heat in the winter here in Las Vegas until today.

Where could I call to have gas or heat for my apartment hooked up?

your apt should already have heat just turn you thermostat up. Or call the office maybe you need maintenance. If for some odd reason you don't have your utilities hooked up you would call whoever your complex goes through like Nevada Power or southwest gas co. if your apt gas or electric? Do it asap cause its gonna be 28degrees tonight!

Pull the handle on the gas station and if you read "3 Single Bars", you won a free call to the HVAC technician who can hook it up for you.

Just kidding, I don't know.

If your heater isn't electric, call Southwest Gas. Plan to be home all day, as they do not set appointments.

Okay, so Southwest Gas is another one of those companys who offer crap, but don't bother to tell you?!?!?! Would have been nice to know that!!!!

Southwest Gas. The number is 365-1555.
Nevada Power if you all electric their number is 367-5555.
In reference to the other person's comment about appointments, we do set them at SWG but you need to call at least 48 hours in advance to get one. If you don't get an appointment you will need to be home or provide alternate entry.

um- the gas company? that is if you have gas... but then again- you probably have a gas water heater, so really all you have to do would be light the pilot light and turn on the heat.
