a lot of contributers think she has done nothing for her country, i disagree, she has died for it as she was told would happen, in a more Democratic country and situation, she may be ridiculed and scoffed at etc, but she would be allowed to live along with all the other people who were murdered with her due to the threat the extremists seen in her views, i don't think anyone should make glib comments from the comfort of their armchairs because they live in a country that protects all its people even those who break the laws and those who have extreme views, Benazir Bhutto was a brave women who believed in her brand of politics and paid with her life for that principle, whether you agree with what she believed in or not, she deserves any comments made to at least be fair if not in her life, then at least in her death.

Her fate was sealed when she decided to go back to Pakistan.She was a force for democracy which Mushariff is trying to avoid at all costs.

That she is dead now, unfortunately.She was the best hope for a secular government. Her father was also executed by a religious fanatic general

I would describe her, for all her faults, as brave. To go into that situation knowing what you are facing takes incredible courage.
