Ron Paul.
He is the only American candidate (meaning he believes in our Constitution, our rights, and voted against the "Patriot" Act)
He wants to protect our borders instead of fighting overseas to protect us. hmmmmm
He know how corrupt the Federal Reserve is.
He will stand up for the Bill of Rights.
He knows and will state that the war against Iraq was sold to the American public with false information.
He looks at universal health care in true reality: we cannot afford it. How does Hillary plan on funding her "great plan"?
But we can help the health care system by:
Making all medical expenses tax deductible.
Eliminating federal regulations that discourage small businesses from providing coverage.
Giving doctors the freedom to collectively negotiate with insurance companies and drive down the cost of medical care.
Making every American eligible for a Health Savings Account (HSA), and removing the requirement that individuals must obtain a high-deductible insurance policy before opening an HSA.
Reform licensure requirements so that pharmacists and nurses can perform some basic functions to increase access to care and lower costs.
I could go on and on....
Educate yourselves people. Education will make or break a person or our country.

I completley agree with you, I am supporting and volunteering for Barack Obama. We need someone in office who is not hated by a majority of the country (HIllary Clinton). Does not take money from federal lobbyists and special interest groups (Hillary Clinton) and who has the public speaking skills and charisma to speak with leaders of other countrys, allys and enemies. Also, our country can not handle a socialized healthcare system similar to Canadas. It has not worked there and I have not seen goverment efficiency with our money to warrant such a massive project. Barack will make healthcare affordable to all Americans without deteriorating the quality of our health care.

I'm going for Obama for the same reason you are. We do need a new start with no ties to the old ones. I really hope that people vote this time for a candidate who will do good for the country, not just because their "moral beliefs" align.

I am still thinking. I am doing more research. However, the most important ingredients for quality leadership are experince and character, but if a leader must lack one it shouldnt be character.

I'm voting Obama, this country needs change. He's the only candidate that doesn't feel like a dirty, run of the mill politician to me.

Obama is being considered by people because of his youthful leadership and many feel to dispense with the traditional politicians which could be disastrous for Hillary Clinton.

I'm voting for Ron Paul, because I don't care about popularity contests or sound bites or the opinion of know-it-all "pundits". I care about right and wrong.
-It's wrong to steal from people to fund projects they believe are immoral.
-It's wrong to send men and women off to die in order to score political points.
-It's wrong for our government to meddle in the internal affairs of other countries.
-It's wrong to micromanage everyone's personal affairs, because someone might be offended.
-It's right to leave people alone to live their own lives.
-It's right to let people decide for themselves which charities to support.
-It's right to let people trade with whom they will for whatever they will, so long as they aren't hurting anyone.
-It's right to let other nations choose their own governments.
-It's right to force government entities to obey the law.
