Interesting question. No, it isn't.
As long as humankind has existed, there has always been some tribe, culture, etc. that has not been popular with the other tribe, culture, etc. for many, many reasons.
Early Christians were victims of racist attitudes...now Christians are against 'cultists', and other forms of religion.
People still feel 'funny' and have their doubts about vegetarians....
People who do not take baths are shunned...

What 'racism' is on a base level...is being somehow 'different' according to other humans. It may not be right, but we are all part of this crazy, mixed-up group called Humankind.

Racism is about ignorance and nothing more. Despite what certain ones that visit this forum might want to believe, every race has their share of racists. The white people have their share of David Dukes, the black people have their Al Sharptons, etc.......

Not at all. It is about hating a group of people for their beliefs, the way they think, or the way they look. Even age plays a part in this. It's sad that we live in a world that has come so far in technology yet we can not just except people for who they are.

Racism is about being in power -- only those in power can be racist because they make the rules. Anyone can be prejudiced, however...

No. It's about narrow minded, insecure people who have to pick on others to make themselves feel better.

Men are born ignorant, not stupid. They are made stupid by education.
