Friendship is different than being in love, but they are of equal value. A true friend will stick closer than a brother. Friendship is simply platonic, while love involves romance among other things. It's not necessarily an insult that someone prefers to be just your friend. There could be a myriad of reasons, and it may not have anything to do with you.

friendship IS love, just a different form. It is no less valuable than the main category of love.

Friendship is equally as valuable as love. Love ideally is Friendship elevated to include emotional and sexual components.

I can't imagine my life with out some of my very close friends... but I don't love them enough to share myself with them completely... in the full body sense... I believe that friendship is love... just not physical or romantic but a platonic love
