i need real answers not irony

Hi. NASA launches many 'amateur' projects. You only need to build a working satellite that will fit in un-used space and they will consider launching it. This is how many amateur radio 'birds' get launched.

Absolutely. They have installed special discard containers for the ten tons of amateur submissions they receive every year. I am pretty sure the Europeans are also composting.

You said you wanted no irony, but the real irony is that you seem to think you can do better as an amateur than you could as a professional. Why don't you simply go to school if you want to do space stuff? Seriously. Go to school, LEARN to do this thing right and see where life takes you. It might take you right where you want to be. Just not very fast. But you have a heck of a better chance to get in through the main door than some imaginary side door that does not exist.
