We are going camping at the fresh water springs here in Florida. We want to go in January when the weather is approx. 70 degrees-ish. The water is a constant 72 degrees. Do you think that we'll actully go in the water with the outside air being the same as the water temp? Would you go? This is our last chance to go until next fall, i am pregnant and expecting in early april so I want to go while I'm at least still alittle comfortable...

I think now is a great time for you to go camping. Like you said, it'll be a while before you can sleep comfortably ANYWHERE, much less outside in Florida.

I doubt you'll be going in the water much, just b/c it'll be chilly once you get in. The air temp will make you uncomfortable. And I've been to the springs, and that water feels a lot like 30 degrees than 72 degrees! :)

Go camping! Take me with you. :)

I went camping out plenty with my first being pregnant. actual I camped all the way up until eventually i grow to be 30 weeks. (Then it grow to be too warm exterior!) i think of it quite is actual very wholesome to get the clean air. It is likewise a great bonding time between the mothers and dads! pass camping out, walking, mild trekking, and so on. as much as you may now! After the toddler comes, you're able to do those issues notwithstanding it quite is plenty tougher! Have a great time this weekend and congratulations on your being pregnant!

I live in British Columbia and sometimes the air is colder than the water especially in the mountains and i still swim. Actually the air being cold makes the water feel allot warmer especially after you are all wet. 70 degrees is beautiful weather and my sister swam in a mountain lake while she was about that far along and that water was almost too cold for me. I think it will be fine. i would totally go in that water.

It certainly wouldnt hurt the baby if thats what you are worried about. If you can stand the water that cold then it'll be fine and camping sounds like fun!!

In Michigan where I live it would be a perfect beach day but might be a little cold for you when you get out but the water will feel good.

Go for it, but watch out for the crocodiles!! They sniff out pregnant ladies. My uncle used to always tease us that there were crocodiles in the freshwater springs of Florida. (maybe it's true)
