It will be chlorine or HCL. Either one will nail you if you get a good snoot full. Only a quick breath of it may give you a chemical induced phneumonia. Read the bottles and stop imitating the early chemists who tasted and smelled everything they made. We lost a lot of chemists that way. There is a fairly modern story of excited chemists who first made tetra ethyl lead (gasoline additive for many years). They stuck their fingers into the clear liquid and managed not to die from it. When they finally got the toxic rating from tests they almost fainted because it was found to be adsorbed into the skin and killed the test animals even in small quantities.

I don't know the chemical formula of the gas, but its one of a group commonly known as fool's gas.
