Ive been insiting in asking them where is the check...
3. They said it was mailed out
Ive been waiting a week and still no check
Today they told me it was certified mail so i called the post office and there is no record for certified mail under his name or the address its self.. i then asked the employer for the track number and i get that there is no record of it.

I think if you want to keep your job you will let your significant other track this down and you need to stay out of it.

Frequently, companies cancel direct deposit upon termination of employment. This is so they can hold the last check in the event that the employee has not returned all company property in their possession. In the event that your significant other has returned all company property, they need to release the payment. He can legally ask for the payment. If they say it was sent via certified mail, there IS a tracking number, and they need to provide it to him.

Good luck!
