If only the liberals would wake up and smell the coffee, then we could bring peace and democracy sooner and with less bloodshed.

That's probably a question better asked in Philosophy. It's hard to say why this occurs. Maybe it has to do with the fact that people that oppose effective leaders feel disenfranchised by their effectiveness.

Butif you are talking about Bhutto (and i assume you are) don't forget that her government was corrupt, and was involved in many human rights and civil rights violations. Opposition to her was brutally crushed. So I guess in her case you reap what you sow.

I think we are very fortunate in UK and possibly USA Australia
New Zealand Canada etc in that whilst we may or may not like and respect the people on the other side of the political divide we do not go and kill them. That is why we must fight corruption at the polls with every means possible because when they become corrupt people will find another way. So we must never ever say it will not happen here it could well do so. I do know who first said it but it is true, "Freedom demands eternal vigilance"

Pakistani politics is a very murky affair and very difficult to understand the real picture. Things are made worse by the US government wading in as always and backing one set of people against another.

Such blatant interference never does a country any good, and will always lead to the sort of political suicide and carnage that we have now come to see in Pakistan.

It's not about good or bad as much as it is lunatics trying to gain world dominance. They will stop at nothing to get their way. Hitler did it and so did Saddam, that's the only way they can get into office, no one in their right mind would vote for them. That is why they themselves should be assassinated before they take out the good ones. Look at all the problems they have caused the world by letting them have their way until we can handle them diplomatically. Sometimes desperate times need desperate measures. Look at it, if they would have taken out Osama, Saddam, Hitler, Stalin, the world would be a better place today.

Id kill Bush if u gave me a gun, even though it would cause some problems with me since im a christian, i feel killing is wronge, but such people who threaten the safety of the world population with their childish inteligence need to be stoped.

Either way isnt it obvious, killers have no moral issues killing, good people tend to squirm at pulling the trigger on someone when their looking them back in the eye, they know its wronge.

then when most the powers of the world are idiots greedy for money, who colaborate with people with no morals...the only fly swating of bad people you will see are the small fries.

Slimebuckets always prosper, why I don't know.
All I can say is that is the way the world is made. Nearly all peacemakers die, Ghandi, King, Jesus, Oscar Romero and lots more. The only one I can think of who is alive is Nelson Mandela.
It's a sh*t world at times, it seems as if it is going to hell in a handcart. Selah.

The people of Pakistan need to stand up to Al-Qaida, and insist that Musharraf step down. Nothing will change until then.

Assassinations are a tactic of the evil. When the good stoop to evil's level, they are no longer good.
