This guy loved me, and now he hates me. My own fault, yes, but why won't he at least be my friend? He even reported me for a violation when it wasn't really a violation.

Because both emotions are at the top of the list for leaving you most vulnerable. You give all of yourself in love, lay your soul bare to someone else. When it goes bad then you are vulnerable because you have let that person know your inner most secrets and fears. It is a self saving coping to turn to hate.

What did you do cheat ? if that's the case I would hate to because of hurt , if that's not the case then the hate should fade quickly and you can try and be friends but that never works. It sounds like you still love him and if you do , without begging see if he will sit and talk to you and maybe the two of you can work it out.

I'm sorry for your pain I'm going through the same but we all get over it in the end

Good Luck

only way i know one can hate is if they truely loved you. that is how. its very easy and why friends. you know when you really love someone you can't be friends there is no way. i dearly loved a guy in high school and when we finally broke out last time being together i hated him and now to this day i want nothing to do with him and he was the best there was in the whole town. its so easy and only way to keep yourself sane.

The only way that love can turn into hate is if someone that I love steals money from me. I had a girlfriend do that to me once. What she did not know is that all she had to do was ask and I would have gladly given it to her.

People online can be fickle like that. You never truly know when you are offending anybody online as they won't always tell you that they are offended by you either. It's like playing a guessing game with some people. I try to avoid people like that like the plague. If anything you should block him so that he can't get to your questions and report you.

I always felt I could forgive my enemies quicker than forgiving a friend. A real friend knows better.
