I have a bunch of old vinyl records. They are too scratched to play. I wanted to do something funky with them, like a door curtain or something. I'm a creative person but sometimes I can get stumped! Inspiration please! Thanks everyone!

drill a couple small holes on all 4 sides (top bottom right and left) then tie with fishing line an make a wall hanging keep labels up so they can be read go like 6 across and 10 down or more or less or do the size of door you can cut them with a heated wire or heated putty knife to fit door also you can buy a unfinished table and place them on it and cover with polyurethane or even place them on peice of plywood and cover with polyurethane and frame it lots of things you can do

I made a clock out of a old Beatles vinyl. We use it every day!
I have even made coasters out of the label, with the vinyl still attached. Lacquered them...
I have others that are waiting for something to be done with them, the labels are nice labels and worth money if the vinyl was not bad. I hung them up on the wall until I get the inspiration to do something with them.
There are places to buy the frames for them, I seen a video of someone on youtube who made candy dishes out of them. Bowls can be made with them.
Hope this helps :0) Remember "old" might be a persons opinions. The turn of the century records are not vinyl! During the depression days records were made from cardboard. The 80's vinyl were mass produced and basically worthless unless of course there is something "special" about them.
Some records are worth something even though they may have scratches. Anyhoo have fun :0)
I gave in and got rid of a collection of thousands! 5-6 thousand. My family claimed to want the living room back :0(

Spray paint them different colors. Drill a tiny hole in the top of each and string them at different lenghts in front of a doorway or closet or wall. Use fishing line so it can't be seen.
Or glue pictures of your friends/family on them and do the above.

Why not a huge wall collage? Or hang them by fishing line to form a hanging mobile/ wind chime?
