Does Yahoo conduct lottery Program ???

Question

I received winning prize from Yahoo noted as follows:

This is to inform you that you have won a prize money of ONE MILLION TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND US DOLLARS ($1,200,000.00) for the YEAR 2007 Lottery promotion which is organized by YAHOO LOTTERY INC for the introduction of the new YAHOO BETA MAIL which all YAHOO users are required to switch onto.
YAHOO! & MICROSOFT WINDOWS, arrange and gather all the e-mail addresses of the people that are active online, among the millions that subscribed to All email Address, and others we only select Nine(9) candidates per annually as our winners through Electronic Balloting System (EBS) without the candidate applying, we congratulate you for being one of the people selected

Somebody please help me whether Yahoo conduct this lottery program??? If no I will ignore it, but I like to ensure whether Yahoo is the one of sources

Uh-huh, I've gotten those a number of times. It's a scam, not real - just delete it.

If you respond, they'll tell you that you need to send them money for a courier fee or delivery fee. If you send it you won't hear from them again and will just lose your money.
