Listening to the above piece, I thought it sounded familiar. Does anyone know any movies that used the music for its score?

My movie music database tells me that, surprisingly, there are no films that have featured Fauré's Pavane.
Perhaps someone out there knows differently ....

As the experts "del_icious_manager" and "Malcolm D" have posted the Faure work does not seem to have been used in a movie. It may be familiar as it was used as the BBC World Cup theme in 1998.

I know of no movie that has used this piece, which knowing the piece, is actually remarkable.

THANKS GOD! They film performances suck. Besides, they do anything to fit it in, so they play around with the piece. It always sounds bad.
