Not really. Typical YA user cries, whines and rants about mystic problems they percieve. Reality and facts, no way!

Well, I am an American, family came here in the late 1500's and I would like to think that all of the above is something I can hold on as a YA user and American Citizen.

Yeah that Americans tend to be very optimistic.

Try having a choice in your life when you're born really poor in America and your parents addicted to drugs.America is a cold society where it's everyone for himself.
The percentage of poor Americans who are living in severe poverty has reached a 32-year high, millions of working Americans are falling closer to the poverty line and the gulf between the nation's "haves" and "have-nots" continues to widen.
Nearly two out of three people (10.3 million) in severe poverty are white, but blacks (4.3 million) and Hispanics of any race (3.7 million) make up disproportionate shares. Blacks are nearly three times as likely as non-Hispanic whites to be in deep poverty, while Hispanics are roughly twice as likely.

Americas race relations are mediocre at best, racism is still very much alive

It's already been said but I repeat, try being a Muslim

When Bush travels around the United States, the Secret Service visits the location ahead of time and orders local police to set up “free speech zones” or “protest zones” where people opposed to Bush policies (and sometimes sign-carrying supporters) are quarantined. These zones routinely succeed in keeping protesters out of presidential sight and outside the view of media covering the event.

You have more free speech in ANY West European country

Gay people have to hide in a big part of the United States and enjoy equal rights nowhere. Guess any walk of life just doesn't include someone loving someone of the same gender

I'm sure your service is appreciated but that's again something you could have done in any country.

America buys the best scientists around the world with fat salaries. They do the inventing and even those days might be over soon now China is becoming an economic super power

I don't know about your thing with John M, but I do disagree with some of the statements:

Amazingly good life for the ordinary person is based on credit card debt and mortgages people can't pay.

Civil rights get circumvented daily in the workplace, and not everybody is completely entitled to them (gays).

America has the potential to do great good, but we are making a mess of things abroad these days.

Everything else sounds good, though...

Two things I find interesting.
1) It took you an hour to come up with these.

2)All of the really negative Anti-America things your friends had to say.

Ok three things. What's the JM at the end about?

All of those things are available to all Americans if they only try, rather than expect someone to take care of themselves.
