Bush earned it.
LIES
“So I’ve told people that if you’re interested in avoiding World War III, it seems like you ought to be interested in preventing them from have the knowledge necessary to make a nuclear weapon. I take the threat of Iran with a nuclear weapon very seriously.” [Bush, 10/17/07]

I'd have nothing against him if he'd stayed out of the White House, but he doesn't have the intellect or the temperament to be the President. He's ignorant (and determined to remain so), arrogant, hot-tempered, uncouth, unethical, greedy, self-serving, hypocritical, and oblivious to the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights. He went to war with Iraq for personal revenge and/or oil (take your pick) and took the Republican party's idiotic borrow-and-spend policy to absurd new extremes. He refuses to listen to rational advice, which is why Colin Powell quit and more than likely why Karl Rove quit too. He doesn't care about human rights, either for prisoners of war or for our own citizens. I could go on, but I think that's enough to give you the general idea.

The first reason is that he started a war with no purpose, plan or goal. He failed to bring the perpetrators of 9/11 to justice. He has violated the Constitution, the most important document for our nation. He has taken steps to allow the scaling back of our liberties. He has favored the wealthiest 1% of the nation. He has enveloped the Presidency with a shroud of secrecy not seen since Nixon. He spent us from a surpus back to a huge defecit.
In all, he has been an unmitigated disaster as President.

Reasons:
1. Wasn't elected. Got the Supreme Court to appoint him.
2. Did NOTHING about terrorism for a year until 9/11.
3. Either allowed or helped 9/11 to happen.
4. Even after 9/11, still did nothing about terrorism until prodded to by rich military contractors.
5. Did not want to investigate 9/11. Then appointed a partisan hack to head investigation and underfunded it.
6. Lied about links to 9/11 - Osama bin Laden - Saddam Hussien - Iraq - Weapons of Mass Destruction.
7. Took us out of Kyoto Agreement.
8. Lied about his tax cuts helping the lower and middle class.
9. Lied about going after OBL (or changed his mind)
10. Went to war with an innocent country.
11. His office outed a covert operative (Valerie Plame).
12. Created the Office of Faith-Based Initiatives, clearly violating the separation of church and State.
13. Took a budget surplus and put us into bigger debt than the U.S. has ever been in.
14. Created No Child Left Behind and then didn't fund it, leaving teachers trying to teach to the test and wasting countless hours of class time.
15. Allows torture.
16. Lies, lies, and more lies.
Etc.

I don't HATE him, but I don't respect him. I think that he is spoiled brat born with a silver spoon who has never really had to work for anything.
I have more respect for Presidents like Clinton and Reagan that actually had to rise up in the world to get what they have.

People are just now getting around to the idea that America is still a melting pot.
There are black people, gay people, jews, muslims, women, liberals, democrats, asian americans, mexican americans, pagans, environmentalists and even atheists in this country...
Hard to believe, right?
Bush doesn't represent any of these people even though they are Americans too...
