I'm posting the question in this catagory because I have a feeling I'll get more opinions in this catagory compared to the relationships catagory. There are ususally more people here. Anyway...

There's a boy in one of my classes, he's a senior (almost 18) and I'm a freshman (14 1/2). Anyway, he's super nice, giving me hugs and playing with me when the lesson hasn't started or has finished early (like poking and coming up and tickling me). Sometimes he flirts with me, but other times he's rude and obnoxious. He's not the most attractive person in the world, but neither am I.

So...is he into me? And if so, why? He's a senior. If he's not into me, than why does he act like it?

Boys flirt in many ways. To me it seems like he's trying to get your attention.

When he's rude and obnoxious, it's a guy thing. A guy way to flirt with girls. This could also mean that he could be very agressive and forceful.

If he does turn out liking you, do not date him! Guys of that age do only want one thing in the world, and if it comes to that he'll probably be 18 at that time and you'll still be 14 1/2 (which means it would be considered rape on his part).

Just nicely break it down to him and say that you aren't ready for a relationship with him, and that you also have a great age difference, so It would not work out.

I hope I helped!

He is neither when he gets in to a fiasco state. He just wants to know you more by flirting. Ultimately, he may like you, because he is curious on you. You may be the target of his desire. I answered all 4 questions with the same answer. It seems that you are extremely curious what would happen next. I believe you are only 15 years old. This is only crush stuff. He has a crush on you.

He might be, but it's not worth it. Him being 18, has other things on his mind, and you need to focus a little more on your studies. I don't recommend you doing anything else with him, and should tell him it's inappropriate to mess with you because of the age difference. It's sounds mean, but he can get in a lot of trouble for being with you. If you do like him, be friends, but don't date and for sure don't do anything else.

I don't know if he's into you or not, but when I was a freshman I dated a senior for a really long time - but it was kinda weird b/c I was still a kid really and he wanted to have sex - but I wouldn't.

So proceed with caution.

Seniors guys like to brag about how many freshman they hook up with.
Wait 'til next year and see if he's still into you.
