radiators usually have a plastic drain screw in the bottom. remove cap and drain screw/disconnect lower radiator hose on a COOL motor. close drain screw when empty/reconnect hose and tighten clamp, refill with correct coolant-(not dangerous unless you drink it) run motor after full to get trapped air out, top up and reseal cap. job done.

there's a screw off cap at the bottom of the radiator that you unscrew to drain out the old stuff. don't let it soak into the ground -- it's toxic waste and needs to be disposed of appropriately.

when the radiator is empty, put the cap back on and pour new coolant (or mixture of water & antifreeze) in, up to the mark near the top.

best not to run the engine as you could get burned or cut by the radiator fan

Drain the coolant. Refill.Run engine until hot to check for any leaks. Then check the fluid level after engine cools off.
Don't change fluid when engine is hot--you may get burnt when removing the radiator cap.

Do not have the engine running! Do not try to do this if you have run it within the last half hour. You will want to top it off, then bump the front of the car with your hip to 'burp' it and top it off. Be SURE to dispose of used coolant properly! It will KILL animals who will drink it because it is sweet to them, as well as contaminating ground water if you just let it flow out on the ground!!!
