What if you found that the house number was really 14? Then nothing that has happened was related to being at #13.
Would you say "Well, I'm NEXT to #13" and blame things on that?
What you report is a Self-Fulfilling Prophecy. "A self-fulfilling prophecy is where a belief (often false) is accepted as truth, and in stating it, becomes true."
http://www.abetteryoublog.com/2007/01/18/self-fulfilling-prophecy/
Consider a big math test. You predict you'll won't do well as you never do well on math tests. Since you don't do well, there's nothing (studying, getting a tutor, staying after school) that will help. Come test day, you don't do well. It's not the test. It's your perception of the test that makes the result. You behave such that what you expect to happen, will happen.
Take "I heard 13 brings bad luck." Who told you? Did you check the statistics? Studies have shown there's no relation to the number and bad things happening. Why do you place so much stock in "I heard"?
Start with "I heard 13 brings bad luck." therefore you expected that "BAD things" would happen. Suddenly you're having "BAD Things" happen. You're expecting something to happen and that it will be "Bad" So alerted, you'll search and find something "bad."
We could suggest magical thinking such as getting a rabbits foot to counteract the effects #13. Just having it (you don't have to carry it or anything) will result in your luck becoming "good." If you don't believe in a rabbits foot, how can you believe 13?

My Wife and I have an anniversary on the 13th, we fell in Love on the 13th, got engaged on a 13th and got married on a 13th. We've turned and "unlucky" number into a lucky one. SO it doesn't have to be bad luck.
We only see what we want to in life. If you tell yourslef that your unlucky, your subconcious will make it happen. You'll be led into series of events that turn out "bad" because you've told your subconcious "I'm Unlucky" and it believes what you tell it. Every thought you have is stored by your subconcious. What you need to do to be "lucky" or just neutral again is tell yourself the truth, 13 is not unlucky and your going to find a whole new Love for the house your in and make 13 a Lucky number! Tell yourself your lucky because in the grand scheme of things, you live in a house and there are literally Billions of people who would call you lucky just for that!
If that doesn't work, the Bible offers prayers agains curses or any kind of "evil" that may be attached.
Chances are your just in the state of mind that you only see the bad and the good is not held onto like the bad is because you have so much belief that 13 is unluck.
Make Peace with your home and send it Love and you'll be fine
God Bless

Don't freak out, the number 13 does NOT bring bad luck. I mean come on, its a regular number. Your house is not haunted, there's no such thing. If you think there are ghosts and what not there, there aren't. Once your dead you can not come back in any way unless God raises you from the dead. So don't worry about it. But if you still feel uneasy about it then I suggest you move out. Honestly if a house freaked me out that much I would pack up my stuff and move out, but that's just me.

It's likely that no more unusual things are happening to you know than before you moved into the house. You are just noticing it because you are freaked out about what you heard about the number 13.
If you are that disturbed by it, move out. Just know that would be unreasonable. See a counselor.

It's in your head, just because it's the number 13. I don't take much heart to superstitions, especially the very generalized ones like 13, ladders, mirrors, or black cats. Moving out would be pretty extreme, and i personally wouldn't move out.

It sounds like you are very superstitious. As long as you are not hearing chains rattle at night or seeing white visions in empty rooms you are OK. The house number has nothing to do with your run of bad luck. Relax and try to enjoy your new home.

You are being superstitious. You have unfounded fear and you are looking fo connections to explain random events.
The number 13 has a website to just show you that you are not alone. That doesn't make bad luck a real possibliity.
No. I wouldn't move out. You must do as you see fit.

As you have posted this question in psychology I think you realise that the inkling or belief that 13 is bad, you know can be enough in itself to cause you problems.
try to stay rational.. maybe make plans to move in the medium time but for the time being realise that this is psychological for you and remain positive and dont draw conclusions and tie things together.

No, don't move out! If you are superstitious and believe that bad things will continue to happen to you, then they will. But if you come to grips and realize that everything that has happened was just due to circumstance, then you'll be able to overcome your fears and live a good life in your home!

Number 13 is not unlucky - that's an old wives tale. Mind you, not many would choose to live at number 666? It's just a number?
