I'm not talking about most aggresive, but most effective (unless you believe aggressive ='s effective). Factor in working well with information gathered, have the right alliances to obtain his capture, and being able to influence people of other cultures in a way to make them sympathic to our cause.

Ron Paul's. Issue a letter of marque in accordance with Article 1, Section 8 of the United States Constitution. Everyone has his price. Set the reward high enough and someone will betray him. That way you not only eliminate the one threat, you also create conflict within a newly divided enemy. Better yet, it's legal, unlike invading and occupying a foreign country that was never a credible threat. -yk

Capture is not always the ideal nor is killing always the best.
If we know where he is and can use the information to stop new attacks wouldn't that be better. Saving lives by letting him think he is unchecked. I would love to see his head on a pike in Times Square but someone else will just step up who we may not be able to get info from and is even more evil than he.

it does not work that way and it will never.

bin laden is just one representation of an islamic anger, there will be thousands to replace him,he actually does nothing by himself as he is simply an inspiror that stands for issues they support.
bin laden will fade when his influence fades.
To strip him of his influence, the US needs to solve and tackle the underlying real causes that makes him appeal to recruits, namely the palestinian-israeli issue.
Also, the US cannot win young muslims when it supports dictators that oppress them in their countries like Musharraf in Pakistan, king of Saudi Arabia, president of Egypt, etc, etc.

These are the kinda questions that should be asked to a presidential candidate, what they will do to resolve the underlying causes of terrorism, asking them what they will do to catch bin laden is like giving them an easy 10 points on yahoo answers.

The only candidate that holds the best and pragmatic vision of solving the terrorism issue is Jhon Edwards.

I see you are under the misconception that the US does not already know where Bin Laden is.

A free Osama means that the "bogey man" remains a threat and therefore justifies continued steady flow of obscene profits from the US war machine.

They would have already caught him if they were seriously pursuing it. Having him out and about keeps us in fear and thus easier to control, and more willing to believe that when they raise the terror colors to pink polka dots we'd better do what the nice government says or else.
