Shakespeare got most of his information from Plutarch so the differences are slim.

1) Shakespeare made a long speech given by Marcus Antonius. While records of a speech we are unsure what the speech said.

2) Brutus's emotional connection to Caesar in the play is noted, but not really showed in the lines. Plutarch explains how Sevillia was Caesar's love and how Brutus and Caesar had a father and son relationship in both the lives of Brutus and the Lives of Julius Caesar

3)The omens in Calpurinia's dream. Shakespeare read in Plutarch that there were omens predicting the death of Caesar before the Ides, but like the speech, we are unsure what these are. Shakespeare uses a poetic license to depict what Plutarch had said.

I was able to find all the lives of Plutrach online. Those are three things I was able to gather, I know more, but i'm lazy.

Plutarch doesn't record any last words of Caesar's,although according to another source they were not "Et tu, Brute?" but the Greek for "And [even] you, my son?" Plutarch also says nothing about any speech of Antony's--only that Antony fled and lay low for a while, while Brutus made a speech of justification that partially won the people over until they learned the terms of Caesar's will. Most of the other picturesque details of the play are to be found in Plutarch.

I started school when I was 15 (yeah- long story!) and entered ninth grade half way through Julius Caesar. We then went on to Romeo and Juliet... I have read them all- I am a fanatical admirer of Bill. And my favourite is R & J because of the location and romance of it (I played Mercutio despite being a girl), my favourite from a visual MOVIE experience is Much Ado About Nothing (which, incidently is my FAV film of ALL TIMES) and I adore Hamlet. I love the psychology of it all. He was not mad- he was just very troubled. The Merchant of Venice and Midsummer Night's Dream are ace too. And then there is Henry The Vth! Taming Of The Shrew... You will have fun. Believe me. Once you have read them get thee to a theatre and see them as they were intended to be enjoyed! It is something I cannot begin to describe!
