I mean think about, would it really be that bad to have a president for life who was a great as George Bush? I believe in democracy but I think I would support him if he decides to not leave office in 2009 (what if Hillary gets in, we can't have a terrorist running this country!). Think about all of the great things Bush has done:

-The economy is the strongest it has ever been

-He stopped Saddam from giving his nuclear weapons to Al Queda

-He fixed the education system in the United States

-He made the government more open and honest

-He made the military stronger than it has ever been.

-He made the Mideast far more peaceful.

-He saved hundreds of thousands of people's lives after Katrina

-He has stopped hundreds, if not thousands of terrorist attacks against the United States.

I could list a thousand other things but clearly he is a great president, probably the greatest, why wouldn't we want him for the next twenty or thirty years? We would be so lucky!

Bush will be happy to get out of the White House. I am positive that he is just as sick of the anti American sentiment as I am.

He has done none of those things.

Are you on crack?

Man, psychos like you are the ones that frighten me.

-The economy is the strongest it has ever been

It's not...we are headed into a recession, the Canadian dollar is worth more than our dollar now, thanks to Bush's mismanagement.

-He stopped Saddam from giving his nuclear weapons to Al Queda

Saddam didn't have nuclear weapons. Again, you are on drugs if you think so.

-He fixed the education system in the United States

Broken now as it was before. There is no fix until someone decides to stop trying to educate EVERY kid like they are going to college. Go with the European track system: college bound and vocational/service bound. We are destroying the educations of our smartest by mixing in all the kids that are not interested in education, but are interested in myspace.com

-He made the government more open and honest

Actually, it's more secretive now. What boat did you miss?

-He made the military stronger than it has ever been.

The military is weaker, since we spent all our resources in the middle east. Recruitment is down.

-He made the Mideast far more peaceful.

HA HA HA HA. Whatever. Stay off the crack man.

-He saved hundreds of thousands of people's lives after Katrina

He also did not prevent thousands from dying. Katrina was a debacle. Made me embarrassed to be an American. And his croney Brownie let it happen like that: "You're doing a heck of a job Brownie!!" What a joke.

-He has stopped hundreds, if not thousands of terrorist attacks against the United States.

Yeah, whatever. You got proof? And, in case you missed it, he was at the helm for 911...and as CIC, that makes him responsible, like it or not. That's how it works.

Now, go get some education before you cause any more damage.

He's anti- on the following: American Children's Health Care, Civil Rights, Gun Control, Increasing the minimum wage, Citizen Diversity, Poor People, Balanced buget, Minorities, Homosexuals, Voting Rights,Meaningful social programs, Free Speech, and Prosperity. None of which makes any sense, just as he is Pro- on the following: Death penalty, war( Even if the country we're fighting has never attacked us or is proven to be of no threat), Racism( Has no agenda for promoting race relations or upholding the civil rights of minorities, remember the Jena 6 case and the Katrina victims! He also spoke at Bob Jones University which is a known racist Institution but was refusing to speak before the NAACP which is an organization founded by both Blacks and Whites to uphold Justice.), Torture, and Disingenuousness!

If any of these so-called Conservative Leaders on here had a CEO in a company that they owned who caused a marketing war with another company that they could not win that lasted for 7 years and cost the company a trillion dollars with no profits being made, lied about their dealings constantly, hired individuals that were not qualified to fill positions and overlooked those that were qualified, responded very poorly to company crisis, caused almost a million people to be terminated for no identifiable reason, had no vision for the company, illegally wire-tapped all of the company offices, and indirectly leaked important confidential information to major competitors, Would he still be working for that company? What would you do to him? This is nothing but "Bad Leadership" at it very best! Sounds so much like our current President don't you think???

Bush has screwed up so badly with his lies, corruption, incompetence, arrogance and greed that for him to stay one minute longer than already planned would be a world tragedty. The whole world is counting the days until January 20, 2009. Noon Eastern time.

No. We can't be having that sort of thing in this country, no matter what you think of George. That would spark some truly violent actions from patriots, and rightly so. If we wanted a king, we'd still be english subjects.

Liberals will say anything to get more people on their side.. I gave up listening to Liberals a long time ago as they don't seem to be concerned what is the best for the country only what is better for themselves... They will throw up non issues and make big deals out of anything just to get a free ride someplace.. They try and get tax payers to pay their way and want the government in every step of your life.. I stay away from them and will no longer even listen to their beliefs as it is always about something they want the tax payer to pay for, for them... They used to have a few good ideas but they have gone way too far left for me now..

What's this? You are asking whether subverting our entire system of Consitutional government would be a bad thing? And you call yourself an American? For shame! (I suspect you are being sarcastic, you silly thing.)
