Will I lose anything saved on my computer

Not hard at all. Just make sure you get the right kinds of RAM. Look up or take the exact model into the store and get what you need. All RAM is "keyed" so you can put it in wrong. Just make sure you seat it correctly or make sure its in the slot all the way and from there just reboot and your PC will pick up the new RAM.

You'll lose nothing. It's dead easy, unless the space is cramped. Just flip the switches back, pull it out, and set the new one very evenly and carefully straight down until the switchies snap closed by themselves. Careful to destaticize yourself first, and hold by the edges.

so when you update ram it just reconizes it as new in the bios and addsto what you already have.

no, just pay best buy 50 bucks to do it, its a complex process, its not just pulling and snapping it in, u have to change things n ur BIOS, if u dont know wut bios is, dont even think about doing it ur self
