Actually you do not ever set up the Internet. It is an extremely large network already set up.
Your real question is "How do I install a wireless router so I can have more than one pc connect wirelessly to my Internet Connection?". You should have also included information about your Internet service and the type of router. However, if you cannot ask any questions clearly, I supose it would be expecting too much for you to provide other critical details.
Having said the above, here are some general things you should do and some assumptions I have made.
I presume your Internet feed is either a DSL or Cable TV (CATV) feed through a carrier sulpplied modem that provides an Ethernet feed and uses a dynamic public IP address.
I further presume that you have validated that the Internet feed works properly and has been properly set up by connecting your pc via a wired connection to the ISP Internet feed. If you have not done this, please read and follow the directions from your ISP and make sure your Internet feed is working when connected to the pc from the modem. If this does not work, you will never succeed getting the router to work.
Now, if the above has worked, power down the pc and the modem. Connect the modem Ethernet feed to the WAN port (sometimes called the Internet port) of the router via a straight or a cross CAT 5 cable as your router manual suggests. Connect the pc to the LAN port of the router via a straight CAT 5 cable. Turn on the modem; wait for at least 0.5 minutes; turn on the router; wait for at least 0.5 minutes and turn on the pc. You must have a wired link here and you must always use a wired link to the wireless router when doing configuration work. At this point, check with the router manual for any particular settings needed - be sure to make them - and follow the manual directions for receiving the Internet signal. If you have any problems, be sure to review the manual of the router as the problem is somewhere in the router configuration - either on the WAN or LAN port.
Once you are successful with a wired port, follow the manual directions and configure wireless ports.
I cannot provide specific directions as each make and model of hardware differ in the specifics of how you access the required pages for configuration.

The wireless router you bought comes with the installation package. If not, search the product installation in google.

you first need cable or dsl. Then you take the CD that came with the router and follow the instructions.
Basically, you power down the cable modem and router. Plug your ethernet cable from your modem to the internet port of the router. Then if you have a wired PC, plug that into port 1,2,3,or 4. Power up the cable/dsl modem wait a minute or two for it to boot up completely and then power up the router.
