Are we e going to have an election come November, or is Bush going to become the American Führer is what I mean to say.
After two rigged elections, and the emergency powers act I wouldn't put pass Cheney and Rove to manipulate events so Bush can become our Führer. All hail Adolf Bush.

"This would be a whole lot easier if this was a dictatorship…just as long as I’m the dictator!" —George W. Bush 18December2000 reported by CNN
I see people need to read the National Security and Homeland Security Presidential Directive
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2007/05/20070509-12.html
and the Homeland Security Presidential Directive 20 (HSPD 20
http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2003/12/20031217-5.html
I was a political Science major in college I know how the government works better than most, or atleast how its suposse to function.

Of course, plans are already drawn up. He doesn't bother to answer subpoenas invades who he wants, imprisons who he wants, has his private army in Blackwater, and claims "executive privilege" for everything including his language.

This is a question by someone who doesn't understand Constitutional Law.
First of all, the elections weren't rigged, they were close. The first election had Bush as the victor due to the Electoral College System. I don't like the system, but it is in our Constitution. The second election wasn't close. Kerry didn't lose because Bush rigged the election. He lost because he couldn't even explain his plan for Iraq. I didn't like either choice for president, but damned if I will vote for a man who criticizes someone without having a plan of his own.
Next - there is no Emergency Powers Act. It wouldn't pass a Democratically controlled Congress even if it did exist. We have a Constitutional amendment preventing the president from serving more than two terms.
Finally, Adolf Bush? Have you ever studied WWII or learned what the Nazi's really did? By comparing Bush to Hitler, you dishonor the memory of all those that died under the Nazi's.
My advice to you is to avoid political questions until you become mature and educated. Go back to your Hannah Montana and X-Box, and leave politics to the adults.

He cannot say in power for another term. I am as skeptical as the next individual when it comes to the media and the information presented by the Bush administration, however, I am not sure I'd go as far as calling him Hitler.
I do however concur with the 9/11 conspiracy theorists they do raise some legitimate concerns and doubts about the events surrounding 9/11. I am definitely on the fence on whether or not Bush has not already done what you are suggesting with what happened on 9/11, but would not be surprised if something else happened. I encourage everyone to make your own educated conclusions about whether he could do something as creating a "national emergency". No way man. They wouldn't manipulate bush into becoming Fuhrer. They would take over themselves. It would be All hail Adolf Cheney.
But back to a serious point. no, the american people would revolt, and the U.N. would put some serious woop-*** on them (cause u.s.'s been saying democracy so long, dictatorship would be pure hipocracy).
They will just rig the next one, so they stay in power. Isn't it funny how all the candidates (other than the Democrat candidate who is a white man) they are all either minorities or women, which means that most stupid americans won't vote for them.
So i guess, we see the next manipulation....
P.S. by white man, i mean no disrespect by anyone. i just meant caucasian.

What kind of people are we raising in the USA that can think with this warped mentality ? Are we so pro liberal in our dissent that we resort to statements which show either a lack of intelligence or a definite void in the study of history to equate any one with the likes of Adolph Hitler? If no one invoked emergency powers after the 9/11 attacks what sense does your oratorio make?

Won't happen- no popular support for it, and with so much of our military already overextended overseas, he doesn't have the military might to take control by force...
I guess there's one good thing that came out of Iraq...
I'd be more afraid of an invasion of Iran due to 'security concerns' that fools Americans into voting by fear again- that is how George got in the second time, and Republicans tend to talk tougher in such times.

Even if a national emergency is enacted, by the constitution under the 22nd amendment, Bush is forced to leave office on noon, January 20th, 2009, as he is on his second term.

A legislative bill passed probably when reps had complete control that would allow that rumor has it.
Think positively. We will have a fantastic Democrat for President in 2008. The brainwashed religious are going to wake up to all the details.
