A controversial, yet good person. As the first woman prime minister of a muslim country she was bound to be labeled as corrupt - was she really involved in taking those millions of dollars?! Who knows. The odds were against her - people are going to call her a troublemaker because she is a trailblazer. "Well behaved woman rarely make history".

She fought for women's rights and people's rights in general - I believe we have lost a great woman in this world.

Benazir Bhutto was a completely corrupt politician, she was a savior of the feudal lords and the super wealthy industrialists of Pakistan.

She was definitely a good person. Nobody in Pakistan can match the calibre and stature of Benazir Bhutto. Pakistan is full of rural fedual lords. She was a great person. May she rest in peace.

it depends on how you define "good." She was definitely no nun, that's for sure. But she believed in her vision of Pakistan and followed it to the end, so she was "good" in the eyes of her followers and one of the bravest people in history. I'm sure she knew she was going to die when she returned to Pakistan.

As for corrupt, I really doubt there is an issue there. MOST politicians on this planet are corrupt (not all).

I looked that up today...apparently she was for democracy and was against the military/dictatorship in place now....but she and her family skimmed hundreds of millions (800 million) English pounds under her rule...stashed it in land in Europe and banks in Switzerland...these countries have given Pakistan investigators the proof.

Was she better, I don't think so...did she deserve to die, no

She was corrupt but I still feel sorry for her death. I admire her bravery that she entered politics which is so not a female thing especially in Pakistan.
