Just remember that every day between now and 40 weeks that you don't go into labor, will be better for the baby.
Try sleeping on your left side, it helps with circulation.
Also, your body is preparing you for what's ahead. Towards the end of your pregnancy you will notice that you are more sensative to noises, sleep less, and are awakened by every little thing. This continues after you have the baby. It's nature's way of preparing you for being alert to the baby once it's here. You will seriously be able to hear your baby breathing when you first come home from the hospital.

I'm 37 weeks now and getting miserable. First of all my original due date was the 26th and then was changed for January 19th. My back is achey and contractions are crazy. I was in false labor at 35 weeks and was told by the doc the baby would probably be here within a week. Well I have given up on that thought, but I can relate with the pains....I have even lost my mucus plug and 2 cm dilated. I can't wait either. Good luck

Its awful. I had strong contractions every night from this point until delivery. I was in so much pain I would lay awake and just cry. Its terrible.
Go swimming. It helps a lot. Takes the pressure off your back and hips.
Dont count days, just stay busy, it'll go fast, its only a few weeks out of your whole entire life. :)

keep your mind busy. it helps to not focus on how uncomfy you are. go to an indoor swimming place like the ymca and try that. that helped me and i had twins
