Yes it's brilliant and fun, and is even more fun with the expansion packs factions, nighfall and eye of the north. Each expansion pack add new races, missions, hole new countries even. There's loads of classes to choose from: monk, warrior, necromancer, ranger and assassin to name but a few.
The graphics is brilliant especially the water, and guild wars will run on pretty much any computer.
As for the game play, well only one word can describe it, fantastic. The combat system is good, the missions are fun and exciting to play.
But in a years time guild wars 2 is coming out, many people in the gaming community are already considering it better than WOW

Look, you shouldnt ask dumb questions, I mean u can, but this one in particular is really dumb. Of course you should buy guild wars, its one of the funnest games I have ever played, that and Oblivion

Yeah, it's great. Graphics are fab and there is plenty of things to do. Don't get Eye Of The North (GW:EN) first, it's the expansion.

m8 take it from a former gamer sure it is fun and addictive but u waste money achive nothing and play with online gamers all day and you will be wonderig were ur life went
