I just want to see some people opinions on a homosexual life. I live a homosexual life and LOVE IT and am proud of it :) I want to see what "annoys" people, and what make people love homosexuals. Please keep this clean, and mature. I'm not looking for a debate.

Let me rephrase this lol. I'm a 22 year old gay male. I was trying to rephrase it when I put that I live a homosexual life, because every post that I have made has said that i'm a 22 year old gay male. I just phrased it wrong. Sorry for the confusion!

I just want to quote one of the answers that I really liked...
"I am heterosexual, but I dont have to show it off in parades etc....
I think homosexuality would be more accepted if the homosexuals didnt try so hard to push their sexual preference on others for acceptance and just lived the life they prefer."
I personally HATE the fact that there has to be a gay parade. We wonder why we are hated...or why their are hate crimes...Straight people don't run around naked, dressed up, and have parades pronouncing their sexual orientation. I have never been to a gay pride parade, and will never go.

Hi Emma, I can imagine that you are confused.. I am not religious myself, but my family used to be Roman-Catholic, so I know plenty about religion and the Bible. I consider myself Agnostic now. In other words: I am not certain of the existence of God, but I am also not denying it. Fancy way of saying: I just don't know. If there is a God, I believe that God made this world a certain way for a reason. I believe God made me gay for a reason. I simply cannot believe that God would create gay people and then say "I hate you". The script in the Bible is not written by God Himself, it was written by men. And as we all know: humans make mistakes. I spoke to a religous friend of mine about the scripture about homosexuality once (Leviticus 'when a man lays with another man, like he would with a woman...') and she gave me the following explanation: during the time the Bible was written it was quite common for men, who had a wife that could not have sex or that was ill, to go and fulfil their sexual needs elsewhere. But because openly divorce or cheating wasn't an option, they would do stuff with boys. They would have a secret catamite. God does not approve of pedophillia. Gay men and pedo's are not the same thing. A man that has sex with a boy is not gay, he is a pedophile. Basically, the Bible is so outdated. There is no one who can testify to God or Jesus's opinions on homosexuality. The Bible says slavery is okay. The Bible says stoning a child is okay. The Bible says you should kill a rape victim that doesn't cry out for help loudly enough! Use the Bible as a guideline. You should feel in your heart what is right and what is wrong. I hope this helps (at least a little), Olivia

I think some gay men try too hard to show their femininity. They over use their hands in conversations and are loud and carry on like fools. Most women I know do not act that way.
On the other hand, homosexual women try too hard to look masculin. You know the kind with big leather belts and they cut their hair off in a mans hairstyle etc. But then....its a free society.
I am glad you love your life, but I dont really think you have to push your gayness off on other people to appreciate it.

One of my best friends is a gay man. I LOVE the fact that we can talk about anything, have the same taste in guys and he can still give me a guy's point of view. He is amazing! I think people are people and just because you like the same sex, doesn't make you any more or less of a human being. I am all for whatever makes an individual HAPPY.

i am bi (weather you believe it or not) and one of the things that irritates me about some gay people is the propagation of the ifimanent stereotype. like on a survey i saw the other day entitled, 'see if you're gay; take our quiz," and the questions were things like, "what is fuchsia?" "1: a sports car...2: a color.....or......3: 'like oh, MY god, it is so what the walls are going to be. i SO love it!!!"
i KNOW they are not all like that, so why has all the ones I've ,met or that are out in the open so costume molded to that type?
i am attracted to sensitive males but they need to be males. i love the idea of two, completely male boys, loving each other and yet keeping that emotional closeness.
i know it is next to impossible to find what I'm looking for, but i can dream.
i love that many gay guys are easier to talk to (weather there is an attraction between us or not). i have some gay and bi friends and they are some of the most rounded people i know. i could go on about what i like about them but my fingers are getting tiered and I'm only getting two points for this LOL.
goodbye and thanxs for the chance to vent.

How exactly is your entire LIFE homosexual in nature?
I don't know about you, but I don't live a Homosexual life, I live MY LIFE. The life of a mother to a college student, a life partner to my mate, the adult daughter to my parents, sister to my brother, the life of a good friend, a hard worker, an artist.
My life isn't defined by what gender I make love to in the privacy of my bedroom. That's only a tiny part of what makes up the entirety of my life.
What I hate are those who entaganize others by feeding into the seperatist movement.
Here we are trying so hard to get equal access to rights, benefits and protections that should be afforded to ALL citizens regardless of gender, age, physical ability, sexual orientation or gender identity...and then there are those of the GLBT community who insist upon seperating themselves from the rest of society.
Those GLBT's get on my last nerve.
