Well I have seen the last moving images released by the Pakistani Government. It clearly shows a man with a small pistol. For such a man, with an ammunition, to get so close to Benazir Bhutto is really strange. I personally believe that the blame should be put on the Pakistani Government/ Intelligence Agencies. One obvious reason that why the blame should be put on them is the lack of security. They should have ensured that the crowd could not get close to Benazir Bhutto's vehicle after she was leaving the rally. Why the security cordon collapsed after the end of the rally? She was a Former Prime Minister and clearly would have become the next one. The blame is on the Government.

all of the other answers u got are lies . impakistani , let me tell you the whole truth . musharruf is the one whoo killed her because he doesnt want to give up his rank as president .now teh pakistani gov. is blaming taliban( not al-qaeda) for teh killings to make it look liek a terroists act. but its not. pakistani gov blames al qaeda for every bomb blast that happens. But musharruf is a terroist himself for killing benazir. and also musharruf sent a letter to benazir bhutto it said, we will kill you if you come to pakistan!

The Pakistani government has said it was a terrorist attack and Al-Quadi has claimed responsibility but I don't buy it. Al-Quadi will take credit for any activity that took anyones/anythings life. I think that the Pakistani government either did it themselves or paid Al- Quadi to do it.

Well official reports say it will be likely put on Islamic terrorists.

You can bet your money, tho, that Musharraf has his dirty paws in it.
