Possibly the staff and notes. You should learn to read notes.
The "Open String Notes", E, A, D, G, B, E.
The notes of the frets, beginning with the first 4 frets on each string.
A few easy chords to begin, and how to place the fingers.
You'll have those pretty well in a month or so. After you get some callouses on your finger tips.
Cut your nails close.

I'm a pro guitar teacher and I have had students of every skill level come to me for lessons.

The main thing I teach...the most important thing I teach...is technique. Angles that the fingers and thumbs and elbows and shoulders must be at to improve the sound. I don't mess with somebody's technique, even if it's very different than mine, unless something SOUNDS wrong, or looks like it might cause injury. This is what self-taught guitarists lack the most!

The second most important thing I do for my students is help them focus on the most important elements of music. In your question, you say "which chords? Surely not all right?"

This is where I come in. You know those books, like "12,001 guitar chords". They're useless and they turn off a lot of beginners. I teach my students 15 chords right off the bat. With these, plus about 10 more and some simple music theory later on, one can play almost every chord in almost every song.

After my students know those two things, I let them guide the course of the lessons, with their questions and their interests.

Why not all? If they are any good, they will teach you to read music, and tabs. How to strum, how to pick. Playing a guitar is more than hitting a couple of power chords and screaming as loud as you can into a microphone.
